Legend
Popol Vuh® is a tribute to the book of the origin of life, this legend is one of the most important legacies on the way of thinking that the pre-hispanic people provided to the all of us with the purpose to explain the creation of the world and its civilizations. For some people this book was written by an indigenous priest well-versed on the secrets of an ancient world, to others it was written by enlighten characters, but in the end it is all the same. Now it falls on you to start your legend.

Espadín
Its name comes from the tall, wide and sharp blade, this plant is one of the most common and takes around 5 to 9 years on average to mature it is an easy plant to grow which gives the farmers a better opportunity to commercialize, this type of cactae is noble with frutal tones with a slight sweet coconut flavour, with some spices and herbs.

Tasting Note

Transparent, crystalline, bright, with silver nuances and double hanging in the glass or glass which denotes a full-bodied mezcal.

Smell
Round and with character, botanical on the nose, with a background of earth and damp stones, coupled with a hint of cooked agave, with complex fruit, citrus and herbaceous tones, we can find a mixture of lime, lemon, mandarin and banana, with memories of butter, fennel seed, juniper and cucumber, as well as a ring of chamomile and a base of peanuts.

Palate
Velvety with fruity hints of long and elegant persistence on the palate, extraordinary balance and complexity thanks to a perfect integration between the flavors of agave, smoked and fermentation notes.

Perfectly achieved Mezcal, very typical and expressive.

Tobalá
Type of farmed maguey that comes from the word from the zapotec origin Toba(maguey) and lá (aromatic). It is well known as the King of the mezcals.

Tasting Note

Bright and transparent, with silver nuances, slow tearing in the glass with a high medium apparent density, with good adherence to the glass.

Smell
Persistent aromatic intensity, with a subtle, but at the same time complex floral aroma, especially chamomile, peppermint tea, and anise, citrus fruits such as pink grapefruit, lime as well as nuts with a slightly smoky background.

Palate
Pleasant, with good structure and balanced acidity, with slight astringency and bitterness, its complex range of acidic flavors in which mandarin and grapefruit predominate, as well as notes of tea, cinnamon, almonds and ash, it has an unctuous body with a silky texture.

Recognition
Mezcal with great personality that is powerful but smooth, which is presented in the glass. Its degree of harmony and complexity are a symphony for the senses.
